After a total wash-out, the 2026 Rafih Auto Group Executive Golf Outing finally got underway—two months after the original date!

The 2026 Executive Golf Outing at Lakewood Country Club

Originally scheduled for Monday, June 22, despite our "rain or shine" policy, the course received so much rain on the original outing date that some of the course was actually underwater. So, we were forced to adjust and when August 17 finally came around for the second go at it, the weather complied and we had a beautiful day on the links.
Donations, foursome registrations, and generous sponsorships from Reynolds & Reynolds, North Olmsted Collision Center, Qahwah House, Automotive Mastermind, Shinto, Huntington, Driving Dealer Performance (DDP), Non-Stop Maintenance Inc, , and Petitti Garden Centers helped support the Friendship Animal Protective League of Lorain County.
Golfers enjoyed lunch before the 12:30pm shotgun start. A 4-person scramble outing, team prizes included Lowest Team Scores (1st & 2nd place), and individual prizes included Closest to the Pin shots on holes 5 and 9, Longest Putt on holes 7 and 14, Longest Drive on hole 15, Closest to the Pin in Two Shots on hole 18, and the elusive Hole-In-One Grand Prize, which remains a white whale to this day.
After golfers finished, cocktails were served while the 50/50 raffle and the silent auction took place, followed by a sit-down dinner and awards banquet.
