From his employment beginnings in 1998 as an Assistant Manager for Discount Drug Mart and later CVS, Matt ventured into an entrepreneurial pursuit, purchasing three Subway restaurant franchises in 2002. He operated the locations successfully until finally selling in 2009. Matt’s career in the automotive industry started when he joined Mercedes-Benz of North Olmsted in 2008 as a sales representative. In 2010, he moved into the finance department where he remained for 6 years, until being promoted to General Sales Manager. Three years later, he was promoted again, this time to General Manager. In early 2020, Matt took over his current role as Vice President of Operations for the Rafih Auto Group, Cleveland. Today, he oversees Northeast Ohio’s premier Mercedes-Benz, Sprinter, AMG, and Porsche dealerships. Land of the Pharaohs native, Matt emigrated to the United States at the age of 17, attending Cleveland State University and graduating with a B.S. in Marketing. Matt is happily married to his lovely wife, Rasha, a prominent pharmacist, and is a devoted father to his three young children, Hannah, 13, Jenna, 11, and Adam, 7. When he isn’t poring over the daily operations of Rafih Auto Group Cleveland, he spends his time with his family, watching soccer games (Barcelona Football Club is his favorite), playing occasional racquetball, and backgammon. He has a particular affection for action movies, with favorites including The Matrix, Troy, Da Vinci Code, Angels and Demons, and other movies that challenge the status quo.

A Cleveland, Ohio native, Nicholas Bernard has been with our team since he started in the car wash back in October of 2019. Fast forward to 2022, and Mr. Bernard has risen to be an ambassador of the Porsche brand, as well as a product and technical expert who assists our clients and guests with answering any questions they may have about a vehicle, technology, the dealership, or the Porsche brand.
